About this design

Two-part mold for a fluted cement or Jesmonite planter with a drainage hole: 80 mm across the rim, 75 mm tall, with 8 mm walls and a 10 mm floor.

Fill the cup about two-thirds with cement, press the core in until its flange rests on the rim (its skirt centres it, so the wall comes out even), and weigh it down while the cement cures. Four vents in the flange let air and excess cement out. A pin on the cup floor forms the drainage hole; poke through any thin skin left over it. Both parts print with no supports, about 4 hours together.

You print the mold yourself on any FDM printer, then cast in it.
