About this design

Print a master and a housing, pour silicone, and you have a reusable mold for a faceted pillar candle: ten sides with a gentle spiral, 65 mm across and 85 mm tall.

The master stands on a base board; slide the housing tube over the base, seal the joint with a little clay, and pour silicone to the rim (about 275 ml). The pin on top of the master leaves a ready-made wick hole through the silicone. Demold, then pour wax into the silicone through its open end, which forms the candle's flat base. Both parts print with no supports in about 4.5 hours together.

You print the master yourself on any FDM printer, then make the silicone mold from it.
