About this design

This is the commercial licence for the design: the same files, with the right to sell the items you stitch from it yourself, in any quantity, in any shop or market. The files themselves stay with you and may not be shared or resold.

A serpentine dragon coiled round on itself, head raised on a curving neck, wing lifted behind, claws out and tail curling into a spade, drawn entirely in bold triple-run lines in one red thread, the way vintage redwork samplers were stitched. Light, soft and quick to sew.

Great on flour-sack tea towels, quilt blocks, pillowcases, tees and tote bags.

Stitch it at the size it was made for: stitch files do not scale cleanly past about 10 percent. Hoop with tear-away on stable wovens and cut-away on knits, and stitch a test piece first.
