A traditional holly wreath: sixteen spiky leaves in two greens, clusters of red berries and a red ribbon bow. The middle is left open so you can add a name, initial or year.

Stitch it at the size it was made for: stitch files do not scale cleanly past about 10 percent. Hoop with tear-away on stable wovens and cut-away on knits, and stitch a test piece first.
