About this design

This is the commercial licence for the design: the same files, with the right to sell the items you stitch from it yourself, in any quantity, in any shop or market. The files themselves stay with you and may not be shared or resold.

A sugar-maple leaf caught mid-turn: its five lobes shade from olive and moss through gold to pumpkin and rust, and each lobe's stitches run along its own vein so the leaf catches the light the way a real one does. Light satin veins with fine side veins, a dark outline and a curved stem sit inside a scalloped ring dotted with cranberry berries.

Made for tote bags, tea towels, sweatshirts and framed hoops.

Stitch it at the size it was made for: stitch files do not scale cleanly past about 10 percent. Hoop with tear-away on stable wovens and cut-away on knits, and stitch a test piece first.
